Dr Leidy is a graduate of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, having completed both the Advanced Anterior Cosmetic and Advanced Occlusion Programs. Dr. Leidy also has an interest in orthodontic care, having completed over 200 hours of continuing education in the past two years in orthodontics alone.  He is one of the first general dentists in Hampton Roads to offer the Invisalign invisible braces.  Dr. Leidy is also the only dentist in the area who is certified in the Wilkodontics rapid orthodontic technique.  In addition, he is the only dentist in Southeastern Virginia actively promoting the method of oral conscious sedation.  Dr. Leidy has recently completed study of the latest developments in intravenous sedation at the University of Southern California, directly from Dr. Stanley Malamed, one of the foremost international authorities on Dental Anesthesiology. Dr. Leidy has been in practice for 19 years, the last 13 of which were right here in the Great Neck area.  Dr. Leidy participates in the Mission of Mercy (M.O.M.) program, sponsored by the Tidewater Dental Association, which provides care to underprivileged residents of the Eastern Shore, and the Give Back a Smile program, which provides cosmetic reconstructive dental care to victims of domestic violence, through the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.  Dr. Leidy has been the dental “expert” for NBC-affiliate WAVY TV, channel 10, and the dental consultant for HamptonRoads.com.  Dr. Leidy’s professional affiliations and memberships include the following:
