"Magic Wand" - The Wand Local Anesthetic System

The Wand is a computer-controlled system for delivering local anesthetic (Novocaine/lidocaine). By careful computer-guided dispensing of the solution, the pain associated with traditional injections is greatly reduced or eliminated. This is due to the computer slowing the rate of flow to match tissue resistance and keeping pain receptor's from firing. The wand looks like a pencil, and takes longer than a traditional injection, but many patients prefer it. Ask for The Wand the next time you need local anesthetic!
